The Indianapolis Japanese Literature Association (IJLA) is a reading group based out of Indianapolis that specializes in Japanese literature in translation. On average, we hold meetings once per month to discuss novels, and we also hold joint meetings with a local film group.

Listed below is a set of links to information resources. If you are unable to join us at our meetings, please join us online!

We use Meetup.com to organize our meetings and keep in contact through group e-mails. It is free to join! This link will take you to our IJLA meet-up site.

This blog is our way of passing along information that involves Japanese literature. It is also our forum for online literature discussions. This is the best way to be involved if you are unable to make the meetings.

An annotated list of all the books that our group has read and discussed is provided here.
